Can I turn my Photo into a Paint by Numbers Kit?

Yes, you can turn your own photo into a paint by numbers kit. A favourite picture of your pet, a person you love or a moment you want to spend a little more time with can become a numbered canvas for you to paint yourself. You don't need to know how to draw the image first.

How does a personalised paint by numbers kit work?

Choose a photo, select your kit size and follow the photo submission instructions on the product page. Your image is used to create a custom numbered canvas. The kits include acrylic paints, brushes, a numbered reference sheet and instructions, so you can work through the picture section by section.

Will any photo work?

A clear, well-lit photo gives you the best starting point. Choose one where the main subject is close to the camera and easy to see. Photos with strong shadows, heavy filters or tiny faces in the distance are harder to translate into a painting with recognisable detail. Aim for an image of at least 1000 x 1000 pixels and check the crop before ordering. The product pages include fuller photo guidelines.

Can I use a photo of my pet or family?

Yes. Pets, family portraits and holiday moments are all good ideas when the subject is clear and fills most of the image. If you're deciding between two pictures, zoom in on both and pick the one with sharper detail and more even light.

How long does a custom kit take?

Personalised kits are made to order in monthly production batches. Depending on when you order, the product pages say the total wait can be around 4 to 7 weeks. Check the current production and delivery information on the kit page before ordering, especially if you have a gift date in mind. Rush orders aren't available for these personalised kits.
